Board members should be engaged regularly through meetings, emails and telephone calls. Engagement must highlight industry news, business challenges and, most importantly, organization successes. Board members understand their role around governance, which means uplifting and inspiring stories will keep mission excitement.

3. Connect with Stakeholders

Meetings provide an excellent opportunity to update your stakeholders on the project’s progress and get their feedback and input. These meetings should be scheduled regularly, such as monthly or bi-weekly.

4. Manage Personal Effectiveness

Personal effectiveness is the way that a person makes use of their skills and how they use those skills to improve their overall success. CEO’s have good organisational and time management skills to complete each day’s tasks so they can meet their goals.  Assigning different tasks to different blocks of time, scheduling meetings and other tasks, meeting deadlines and working with other executives and managers to meet product or design requirements on time can manage personal effectiveness.

5. Mobilize through leaders

Build an enticing vision of the future and then share it continuously in an exciting way. Mobilize your direct reports and use your network of leaders to spread the word to all parts of your organization. Make employee engagement a priority by adding it to every agenda.

6. Align the Organisation

Alignment is  a state of agreement or cooperation among persons or groups with a common cause or viewpoint.A well-aligned organization is an important part of a company’s success. Organizational alignment is a powerful way to create collaborative objectives, maximize the skills of employees, motivate leadership and promote positive company culture.
